What to Expect
To make it easier, this page gives you some idea of what to expect at The Freedom Church.
Location: 2072 Commonwealth Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32209
Parking and Sanctuary: There is plenty of space in the parking lot, giving you enough time for our 10:00 am worship service.
Attire: Wear whatever you want. We’re interested in you, not your clothes. Dress as casually, formal or informally as you feel comfortable, we’re just glad to have you join us! Most folks are somewhere in the middle.
In the Sanctuary: The Freedom Church is a friendly church. Be prepared to be warmly greeted and engaged in conversation. We are a visual church so we include multimedia into our service by using videos that shares faith and prepares us for an awesome worship experience.
Seating: Feel free to sit anywhere, no seats are reserved. The church is accessible to those using wheelchairs or walkers.
Bibles: We encourage people to bring a Bible if they have one. We minister from the New International Version.
Style and format: The service will include a mix of traditional and contemporary worship songs. We are a non-denomination church that is lead by the Holy Spirit. Sermons are Biblical and expository (explaining Scripture) but contemporary in application as current topics and life issues are discussed.
After Service
Fellowship time: Please join us for a time of fellowship, getting to know each other, don’t feel the need to hurry up and leave.
